## Preface

Good day friends and I'm here again with something alluring as usual, food aids life and man can't survive without regular intake of meals. According to research, 68% of humans(children especially) die of starvation and malnutrition every year, so pathetic. That's why @emmanu doesn't joke with food, to survive and look healthy, man must eat good food. I'll be showing just five meals I've had so far within the week, it's nutritional content and many other things you need to know about each meal. Stay calm while I do the needful > # Meal 1:Lunch ![IMG_20220830_153009_207.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmb3BBCve8tVScaG9vzpKwht5iHvCkUnCbLtc2pT421xdx/IMG_20220830_153009_207.jpg) **What's there**: Coconut rice and Coca-Cola. **Make-up of the meal**: * Coconut * Seasoning * Crayfish * Scent leaves * Rice * Dry fish * Fresh pepper Etc **Nutritional value**: Coconut is very rich in fat and oil and when used to prepare rice, all you do is nod your head, coconut rice is a meal loved by many although its tedious to prepare. The dry fish is proteinous and adds taste to the meal, I actually had this meal during mid-day. Afterall its made of flour. Many say it doesn't suppress hunger for a longer time but to me it does and can keep me going. Noodles is a three minute meal that could be prepared in a jiffy, even a two year old child can make noodles for himself. My baby sister who made the noodles prefers it not all dried up hence we call it **Peppersoup noodles**, it had cost **4steem**(NGN500) to prepare ># Meal 3: Lunch ![IMG_20220822_144459_734.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmc3n1mdF56SDJu7SdfgEHTZ86ZKPZug6JD2YTZj6n5DQ1/IMG_20220822_144459_734.jpg) **What's there**: Beans and potatoes **Make-up of the meal** * Beans * Potatoes * Palm oil * Seasoning * Crayfish Etc **Nutritional value**: Beans is known to be very proteinous while potatoes is an energy giving food, palm oil gives fat and oil to the body and the other condiments makes the meal balanced. Beans and potatoes is a nice combo for growing children and very good for the body. I felt so bored at home and decided to keep myself busy with a bottle of Smoov accompanied by chuckos chin-chin. Dad has gotten a carton of Smoove so I had to buy only the chin-chin which cost me just **0.4 steem**(NGN 60). I got the chin-chin from a mart adjacent to my house. ># Meal 5: For a break ![IMG_20220826_132427_861.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcFUYXJKZRzCt7HYoDZFCxTuL9ah1LdB1aHn5LHpqieK3/IMG_20220826_132427_861.jpg) **What's there**: Boiled groundnut **Makeup**: * Fresh Groundnut * water * salt **Nutritional value**: Groundnut is a very proteinous grain/cereal that is prescribed for toddlers, it has a little amount of calcuim in it and generates oil. It's from groundnut that we do have low cholesterol oils for frying etc. Groundnut could be fried or boiled, and we opted for the latter. The groundnut we ate was boiled by jassy- my little sister. Atleast this one isn't hard to prepare, mom bought it at **4 steem**(500) in a local market in my area.

## Postface
