# Introduction The kick off to SteemALive City Curator project was a big boom. Many of our members sent more than the 5 Steem required for each week. This shows their desire to help the city to grow as well as supporting the idea of saving steem for the future. We are thrilled to announce that 3,598 steem was contributed and powered up across 3 cities - Uyo, Aba and Lagos. We really thank the city coordinators for working really hard to see that their members supported the program.
