# Introduction We are happy to reach a landmark today - 1 full year since this community was started. Big things they say starts small. We are not really that big, but we definitely have grown over the last 12 months when SteemAlive community was formed. We thank our founding team - @focusnow, @beckie96830, @talktofaith, @iamdanny, @mesonia, @dlioness, for the amazing work they have done in these last 12 months. We are also grateful to our loyal members, our city Coordinators and indeed the Steemit team in supporting us through out this journey. We are sure to achieve greater things as time Progresses. We are marking our 1 year anniversary with a Contest and a giveaway prize of 40 Steem. We are going to make it simple. In this contest, we want you to write about at least 3 friends you have met in SteemAlive community. Then we want you to include an art designed by you wishing SteemAlive a happy anniversary. So here are the things you need to do: 1. Write about 3 persons you met through SteemAlive community. What do you find interesting about their personalities. How have any or all of them helped you in your journey on the Steemit Platform. 2.
