In my own understanding this basically means anything's done on the internet or networking platform. Online ranges from a whole lot of things. It could be used as a term to beckon someone to switch on his/her data and be active on any of the popular social media apps like WhatsApp or Facebook. Or it could be used as a term to refer to the internet, as a way to search for something. For instance; "You can find the answers online". Therefore, online simply refers to the internet or anything that is done on the net. In this modern world, so many things can be done online. Technology has made things so easy and simple that we can do basically anything online.

E-learning platforms has been made available all over the net where students can easily get access to informations. We have E-library and Google classroom. All of these are online. People can now get unlimited amount of informations from the net and learn about a million things in an easy and simple way without ha ing to face any inconveniences.

There are now many social media platforms like Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and many more available to individauls online where they can communicate to family and loved ones. With the advent of smart phones, which is easy and portable to carry around, chatting with friends and loved ones online has been made very possible and comfortable to do without the barrier or restriction of distance. Also, one can now monitor the trends in the society and be up to date with the current happenings online.
The social media now provides opportunity for young individuals to show case some of their talents to the world to see through content creators and influencers. Apps like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram serves as a platform where people can share thier content with the world and also a means where one can learn new things and gain more information and knowledge through others shared content. Most individuals gain game and popularity through social networking, content creation and social media influencing online.
* **E- BANKING**: One thing people usually do online is electronic banking. Technology has made it possible to bank at the comfort of your own home. People can easily go online to transfer money, make transactions, pay bills and subscriptions without undergoing any form of stress. In the online world, things are made available and easy to do. Individuals no longer have to go the bank or be present in person to perform some bank transactions with their account. Apps have been created online to enable online banking and this is one of the things people do online.

This activity fosters unity and togetherness as the internet brings thousand of individuals from all over the world both far and near to play and compete against each other in love for the game which they chose to play. In online gaming, you do not know your opponent as it can be someone who you have never met before in real life. Mostly the male folks enjoys these online video games.To some people, it could be a form of recreational activity, or a way to cool off or relax under stress.

At this rate, we can now watch movies from other countries and fron different genres. Both the current o es and the old ones can now be found online for streaming.
