## Having a Fun-filled Day At Ante-natal Clinic ❤️

My day began as usual with my daily morning devotion, thanking God for life, strength, gift of family and guidance. Thereafter, I carried out my house chores, ensuring everything was well cleaned and kept in order before having my breakfast. Then freshened up and ready for the day, got dressed and headed to work. Upon arrival, I and colleagues exchanged pleasantries, and we proceeded with our morning review session, were we discussed patient updates and plans for the day. Immediately the review was over, we all went to our designated duty posts. This time, I was posted to the ante-natal clinic 😊 and I was very excited because, it's over a month since I was last posted there. Meeting new pregnant women was a delight, as I looked forward to having an engaging session with them.

It was a wonderful moment of worship, which set a positive tone for the day's activities 🥰 Then, it was time for the health talk, to educate the pregnant women especially the first time mothers. I had the opportunity to counselling them on "Avoiding Unhealthy Cravings During Pregnancy". I explained what unhealthy cravings are, as well as identified foods that are considered to be unhealthy, and recommended better alternatives for a nutritious pregnancy diet. The session was highly interactive, as the women shared various cravings they experienced like, eating of white chalk, craving for mineral, some said they cannot eat without taking soft drinks, some crave for burnt foods, eating stale foods etc. and they also asked questions on how to manage them. I and my colleagues took our time to counsel them on making healthier food choices, and they were excited to gain this valuable knowledge. Many of them expressed their hope to see me again in their future visits.

She also should them where to go in case of emergency and educated them on the packed bag that should inside the bag Incase labour happens anyway someone at home can easily bring the bag from home without looking for wat to carry for the mother and child. Thereafter, I had my lunch, and documented our reports. By 4 p.m., I closed from work, feeling exhausted yet fulfilled, knowing that I had impacted the lives of expectant mothers in a meaningful way.
