Lately I had set unrealistic targets and goals for myself, I raised the bar of achievement for myself and I always think I could do more, this had really eaten deep into me and when I couldn't get these things done depression sets in.

Dear friends, I am going to be very realistic and blunt about what I am going to share today with you people, I know this will touch a life or two, please hear me out and learn from my experience especially for those that have not treaded this path before.

Last year, I wanted everything to fall into place for myself, I began to set unrealistic targets for myself, I wanted to use every resources at my disposal to make sure all of these comes through but do you know what this cost me? It never just cost me my money, time and energy, it cost my self-esteem, it almost cost my life and almost lost myself trying to get things done before the year I set for myself.

I was desperate and naive to just get things done, I was scammed firstly, I lost everything I ever laboured for. Till today I am still trying to figure out life again but do you know the most interesting part? I did not loose the fight, yes I was desperate but I kept fighting for what is good.

You don't have to figure things out for yourself, NO!! it will cost you everything, time will tell if you are really ready for the life you are so dreaming of, the life you are fighting for, take a chill pill and calm. I never took out time to enjoy life, I never took out time to celebrate my wins, all I did was to work 24/7, had different virtual jobs that took 24 hours of my time every day, it was draining me emotionally and physically but I wanted to make sure I secured a life that time didn't permit.

You need to calm down with the job, I know you have so many bills to settle but when you loose your sanity or your life these bills will be the there and even if it's settled or not they will never cry to be settled, so you see? The same people you are working everyday to feed and cloth will still survive even if you die today, so you see what I mean? You need to calm with this hustle, time will perfect things.

Stop being hard on yourself, set realistic targets and goals and allow God do the rest. Take your time and celebrate the small wins you were able to secure while aiming for the bigger ones that time will bring your way, life is so delicate allow time to take it course my friends please. I love you all and I am rooting for each and every one of you .
