My grandmother loved to make different sweet staff fr us children and I remember when we were running in our house completely sweaty after our games under sun we just wanted something cold. She knew that and had in fridge cold strawberry cakes or pie but also some fresh strawberries that she kept there and added in our ice-cream. For her it was important to care after her strawberry bushes because normally if you plant them once and water them, as well as cut them in autumn your plants will bring more and good size strawberries in spring.* *My summer time was in my grandmother’s house in a little town. The best thing was that we were far away from our parents and our grandparents allow is much. Understandably they also were strict with us, so we had to wake up early and help to set up the breakfast table but also to clean after. For lunch time we had to peel off potatoes and also to help in her garden. We loved watering the plants, because we also loved to play with water and make ourselves as well as each other wet.* *For us it was time when we could make many decisions ourselves but also we were awarded by grandmother with her famous strawberry pie.
