Introduction

Hello great steemians, I'm excited to participate in this challenge by @dasudi . Fishes hold a special place in my heart, starting from their nutritional benefits like Protein, low calories, omega 3, e.t.c, to the attractive look, down to the taste. How often do you eat fish?

I don't eat fish often because of the price, it is a bit expensive in my locality. But i eat it whenever i can. I don't pass it if I'm offered. However, if i had all the money in the world, i would eat it as often as i want.

How do you like your fish; boiled, grilled, baked or fried?

I enjoyed boiled fish because the seasoning still fresh on it and i get to suck the juice from the fish

What is your favorite fish?

My favorite fish is Catfish. Though it is very expensive. When seasoned, it is very juicy and soft. It can be found in rivers, streams or ponds. The sting of the live ones are dangerous as they may contain poisonous venom so it can't be played with. On the other hand, Catfish also helps in muscle growth, healthy heart and supports the brain too.

What is your favorite side dish to accompany fish?

I love eating the Catfish in fisherman soup which is usually accompanied by Eba, Eba is made from fried cassava. I also enjoy using Rice as a side dish to fried Catfish. I also eat other types of fishes if u can't afford the one I want.

Describe your favorite fish recipe, including ingredients and preparation method.

✅Catfish ✅ Palm oil ✅ Seasoning Cubes ✅ Fresh pepper ✅Salt ✅Flour/ Cornstarch ✅Water

Steps

Cut the fish into smaller sizes Put them in a bowl, add very hot water to it( this is to peel off the dirt from the skin) Use a spoon to scrape the dirt off Rinse the fish in cold water then put it in pot. Add your blended fresh pepper, seasoning cubes, salt, water and allow to boil When the water is boiling, add the oil and flour or cornstarch as a thickener. Allow to boil for some minutes. Add any vegetable of your choice. Your soup is ready Pair with any swallow or your choice.
