Hello good evening everyone on this wonderful community I believe you all are doing well, am here to participate in this contest "Recipe of the Day, Week No. 69" Different delicacy has different tastes and do require different methods of preparation. The taste of a food is based by various fact which includes ingredients, cooking techniques and seasonings today I'm going to post a special delicacy of food known as okra soup in my country. ![IMG_20250712_150921_807.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeXFE5omBquNyULSgNLThn9T4eTz27ixu3c97Dth8uuwB/IMG_20250712_150921_807.jpg) Okra soup is deep rooted delicacy in the culture heritage of the Ibibio, igbo, Yoruba, Efik and other tribes in Nigeria and Africa as a hold, It is often prepared anytime is the type of food must people in my country like eating anywhere mostly in some big restaurant in my country. Okra soup is very simple to prepared when you have all the ingredients. Before preparing okra soup it requires skill and knowledge to properly combine the ingredients to achieve the desired taste. Below are the steps I followed to prepare mine. Ingredients that are requires are:

### how I prepared it I first of all make sure the basics ingredients was ready and kept in place, i started with thoroughly Washing and slicing the vegetable leaf, okra and onions, alongside my skin meat was been prepared for seasoning I Putting all the necessary ingredients for steaming, i steamed it with half cup of water for about five(5) minutes to dissolve out the taste

After the seasoning of the skin meat I added another ½ cup of water before putting bush mango and oil.
