I can mention here my childhood days as the best days of my life. In my family, I have two younger sisters, one older sister, and three older brothers. We grew up together respecting and supporting each other. My parents, especially my father, never set barriers for us; instead, they gave us full freedom. But guided us to the right paths. My parents were respectful and helpful to each other. My mother constantly gave my father compliments and never criticized him. We learned to love and respect our siblings, friends, adults, and neighbors from my parents, especially my father. Our childhood was very funny, as we all could play together and laugh together. We have full freedom to do what we want. As we grew up in a rural area, we had time to play in the paddy field, bathe in the stream, and grow up with cows and goats. Those experiences helped us develop our abilities. I firmly think that my wonderful childhood and the lessons I received from my parents were the main causes of my success. ### Tell us about the history of your school life. ---

I studied in a mixed school; therefore, shyness disappeared from our lives. We didn't have gender concerns. We played together like siblings. That helped me to feel more confident and less embarrassed. My parents taught us to accept any challenge. Consequently, I was appointed chair of both the school's sports club and literary association. As I grew up with both genders, I felt comfortable talking in front of anyone. This helped me to be a talented speaker. My speaking talent helped me to be a captain of the school debating team. Furthermore, my parents built us with good values, which developed our discipline and self-worth. It helped me to be the head prefect of my school.

My education, as well as sports activities, went on in parallel. I was captain of the volleyball and netball teams of my school. During my time as captain, we won a lot of inter-school and all-island matches. In addition, I chose the 100- and 200-meter races as my main events. I won interschool games, but I was unable to win any all-island awards. In my school, I never participated in singing tournaments, as I was unable to sing. However, I had a bit of talent in dancing and acting; therefore, I participated in some dramas and dancing programs. I can say my school life was filled with fun, leadership, and many learning experiences. I was able to gain a successful academic career with the help of the lessons that I gained from my school and my family. ### What was the best point in your life? Why was it the best? ---

The best point in my life was the day I saw the success of a small boy I helped. My elder son's classmate's father died when he was in Grade 5. The family became impoverished after his father's death. But that boy was clever in education. I assisted with his education on behalf of our friendship and my son's friendship until his mother was capable of bearing his education expenses. I continued his expenses for about 3 years. Years later, that boy came to my house with his mother to thank me. By that time, he was a teacher who helped many other children. He conveyed his gratitude to me for supporting him during his difficult academic years. Since I realized that my small act made a big difference in his life, I was unable to speak at the time. I started crying that day because I was so delighted. It was my best point since it showed me that giving brings genuine happiness. We develop when we support the growth of others. I learned from that experience that life is more valuable when we give than when we take. ### What is the worst point in your life? Why was it the worst point? ---

The loss of my beloved father when I was only eighteen was the darkest moment of my life. It was the time I entered adulthood at that point. I had a lot of hopes and dreams in my heart, but all of a sudden, I felt empty. Our strength, our leader, and our hero was my father. It was my father who was the reason for all I have today. He departed from us too soon. He wasn't there to see me grow, to encourage my accomplishments, or to bless me on my wedding day. The most painful thing is that I never had the opportunity to use my income to care for him. Life didn't allow me to fulfill my dream of caring for him. A part of me still gets worried whenever I succeed since he wasn't here to see it happen.
