Oggi torno a pubblicare un breve report realizzato in occasione del mio personale PowerUp Day. Lo **SPUD** (acronimo di *Steem PowerUp Day*) è la giornata in cui un utente decide di convertire in maggior potere d'influenza (***STEEM POWER***) alcuni dei token ***STEEM*** che possiede. Uno dei principi finanziari dietro questa iniziativa è quello di promuovere il *risparmio* sulle piattaforme collegate alla blockchain Steem, rendendo così più stabile il valore di mercato dei token.

___ # Iniziamo: Valore di STEEM e SBD

Qua sotto puoi vedere due grafici presi dal sito marchiato [Coingecko](https://www.coingecko.com/it). Oltre al prezzo del token STEEM, puoi anche trovare quello del token SBD, cioè lo STEEM BASED DOLLAR. I valori sono espressi in Dollari americani (USD), e sono stati immortalati alle ore 22:45 circa del 7 Maggio 2025, fuso orario UTC+2. Il valore di STEEM al momento dello screenshot era 0,1374 USD circa, mentre quello di SBD era 0,817 USD circa. Rispetto all'ultimo report, nelle ultime due settimane il valore di entrambi i token è sensibilmente diminuito. Dopo il delisting di SBD da parte di Upbit, come **[ANNUNCIATO QUI](https://upbit.com/service_center/notice?id=4790)**, si è verificato un enorme aumento dei token SBD convertiti in STEEM. Sebbene in maniera minore rispetto alle prime settimane, parecchi SBD sono stati convertiti in STEEM anche in queste ultime due.

Diversi mesi fa ho introdotto alcuni parametri che ho iniziato a monitorare. Ho tuttavia notato che alcuni di questi parametri forniscono poche indicazioni, poiché al momento attuale l'ecosistema Steem (come molti altri ecosistemi similari) ha delle risorse poco equamente distribuite. Se vuoi più informazioni sui vari parametri, consulta il mio **[POST DI POWER UP](https://steemit.com/hive-184714/@davidesimoncini/steem-power-up-e-altre-a7e63286d1aac)** nel quale li spiegavo. Adesso vediamo i valori di questa settimana. - Il ***Tasso d'Inflazione di Steem***, cioè quanti nuovi STEEM verranno creati in un anno rispetto agli STEEM già presenti in circolazione. La percentuale si attesta oggi intorno al **5,77467%**; - l'***APR del nostro STEEM POWER***, cioè quanti interessi verranno accreditati in un anno in forma di STEEM POWER rispetto allo STEEM POWER in nostro possesso oggi. Attualmente questo valore è pari a circa il **2,741%**. Esso **non vale per gli STEEM liquidi che abbiamo nel nostro portafoglio**, ma soltanto per lo STEEM POWER; - il ***VALORE DI CAMBIO SBD/STEEM***, che si trova nella sezione market del portale Steemitwallet. Al momento della redazione di questo post, **il valore è pari a 0,171**. Va specificato che questo valore è uguale al prezzo più basso che chi vende token STEEM in questo momento è disposto a ricevere per trasferirli a chi li vuole comprare. Inoltre, è soltanto indicativo. Perché? Provo a spiegarmi meglio per chi non fosse pratico. Ogni volta che un'offerta di vendita viene accettata, il valore di cambio sale, poiché l'offerta dal prezzo minore viene esaurita e a rimanere sarà un'altra dal prezzo maggiore della prima (di tanto o poco che sia). Essendo a ogni offerta associata una certa quantita di token (e molte volte in quantità minima) possiamo trovarci nella situazione in cui per comprare una quantità di token più cospicua dovremmo versare molti più fondi di quelli che il tasso di cambio ci suggerisce. C'è poi lo STEEM BASED DOLLARS (SBD): questo è un token che - a seguito di una conversione e in base al prezzo di mercato di STEEM - da diritto a ottenere un certo quantitativo di token STEEM. SBD non viene sempre rilasciato e gli utenti fanno riferimento al parametro indicato come SBD PRINT RATE per capire l'andamento del rilascio. - ***L'SBD PRINT RATE*** rappresenta la porzione di ricompensa in token STEEM che ogni autore dovrebbe ricevere per la pubblicazione dei suoi contenuti, ma che viene invece rilasciata in forma di SBD. Dopo una manciata di mesi in cui la stampa di SBD era ripresa, la blockchain ha dovuto sospenderla (a causa della notevole diminuzione del valore di STEEM). Quindi, abbiamo raggiunto il momento in cui **SBD Print Rate = 0** e pertanto non viene più rilasciata – al momento attuale – alcuna ricompensa in forma di SBD. Questo genere di token verrà rilasciato quando il valore di STEEM raggiungerà di nuovo un valore sufficiente.

Oltre poi al **quantitativo di token STEEM e SBD rilasciati nell'arco delle ultime due settimane**, il quarto parametro che monitoro è **il numero di token STEEM poweruppati nell'arco di due settimane rispetto alla quantità di token STEEM generati nell'arco di due settimane**. Trovi maggiori info nei [PRECEDENTI POST](https://steemit.com/hive-184714/@davidesimoncini/steem-power-up-e-altre-2e56b7e12ad1). **La percentuale indicante quanti dei nuovi token STEEM rilasciati in queste due settimane siano stati bloccati in forma di STEEM POWER** al momento si aggira intorno al **44,56%**. Questo significa che, complessivamente, **meno del 50% dell'ammontare totale di token STEEM rilasciati nelle ultime due settimane è stato bloccato in forma di STEEM POWER**. L'anomalia degli ultimi mesi risiede nelle conversioni: a seguito della conversione di oltre 150000 token SBD sono stati rilasciati oltre 890000 token STEEM in più rispetto alla media delle settimane in cui le conversioni erano assenti.

Per quanto riguarda me, le ricompense che sono riuscito a guadagnare – tra il 22 Aprile e il 7 Maggio 2025 – ammontano a circa:

Ho escluso 9 STEEM dal powerup, così da poter utilizzare questi token per le premiazioni del contest ***[PHOTOCHAIN](https://steemit.com/italy/@davidesimoncini/photochain-challenge-testnet-edition-number-3d03fcc068005)***. Normalmente non effettuo delegation, fatta eccezione per una minima somma verso il progetto @shield-it, un'iniziativa che mira ad attenuare gli effetti dei downvotes eseguiti senza alcuna spiegazione all'interno dei blog basati su Steem. Per la restante parte, mantengo il mio saldo quasi invariato e tento di rimanere a metà tra club50 e club75. A causa delle entrate in SBD, il mio status si trova a ridosso della soglia utile a entrare nel club5050. Today I'm back to publishing a short report created on the occasion of my personal PowerUp Day. The **SPUD** (acronym of *Steem PowerUp Day*) is the day in which a user decides to convert into influence power (***STEEM POWER***) some of the ***STEEM*** tokens he has. One of the financial principles behind this initiative is to promote *savings* on the platform linked to the Steem blockchain, making the market value of STEEM more stable.

___ # Let's begin: STEEM and SBD Value

Below, you will find two charts taken from the [Coingecko](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/steem) branded site. In addition to the STEEM token price, below you find the SBD token one, ie the STEEM BASED DOLLAR. The values are expressed in United States Dollars (USD), and date back to 22:45 about on May 7th, 2025, UTC+2 time zone. The value of STEEM at the time of the screenshot was around 0.1374 USD, while that of SBD was around 0.817 USD. Since the last report, in the last two weeks the value of both tokens has significantly decreased. After Upbit delisted SBD, as **[ANNOUNCED HERE](https://upbit.com/service_center/notice?id=4790)**, there was a huge increase in SBD tokens being converted to STEEM. Although in smaller quantities than last times, even in the last two weeks several SBDs have been converted to STEEM.

Some reports ago, I introduced some metrics that I started monitoring. However, I have noticed that some of these parameters provide insufficient indications because - at the moment - the Steem ecosystem (like many other similar ecosystems) has a not even distributed resources. If you want more info about, read the **[POWER UP POST](https://steemit.com/hive-184714/@davidesimoncini/steem-power-up-e-altre-a7e63286d1aac)** in which I talked about. Now, let's go to the nowaday parameters. - The ***Steem's Inflation Rate***, ie how many new STEEM the blockchain will release in a year, compared to the total amount of STEEM already in circulation. The percentage, now, is **5.77467% about**; - the ***APR of our STEEM POWER***, ie how much interest you will receive (in the form of STEEM POWER) compared to our current STEEM POWER. Now, this parameter is equal to **2.741%** approximately. It **isn't applicable to the liquid STEEMs we have in our wallet**, but only to the STEEM POWER; - the ***SBD/STEEM EXCHANGE PRICE***, which can be found in the market section of the Steemitwallet portal. At the time of writing this post, **the value is 0.171**. It should be specified that this value is equal to the lowest price that those who sell STEEM tokens at this moment are willing to receive in order to transfer them to those who want to buy them. Furthermore, it is only indicative. Why? I'll try to explain myself better to those who aren't practical. Each time an offer to sell is accepted, the exchange value rises, since the offer with the lowest price is exhausted and another with a higher price than the first (by a lot or a little) will remain. Since each offer is associated with a certain amount of tokens (and many times in a minimum amount) we can find ourselves in a situation where to buy a larger amount of tokens we would have to pay much more funds than the exchange price suggests. Then, we have the STEEM BASED DOLLAR (SBD): this is a token which - following a conversion and based on the market price of STEEM - gives the right to obtain a certain quantity of STEEM tokens. SBD isn't always released, and users refer to the parameter indicated as *SBD PRINT RATE* to understand the release trend. - The ***SBD PRINT RATE*** represents the portion of the reward in the matter of STEEM tokens that each author should receive for the publication of his content, and which is instead released as SBD. After a handful of months, when SBD printing resumed, the blockchain had to suspend it (due to the significant decrease in the value of STEEM). So, we have reached the point where SBD Print Rate = 0, and therefore no reward in the matter of SBD is being released – at the current time –. This kind of token will be re-released when the value of STEEM reaches a sufficient value.

In addition to the **quantity of STEEM and SBD tokens released over the last two weeks**, the fourth parameter I monitor is **the number of STEEM tokens powered up over the last two weeks compared to the quantity of tokens STEEM generated over two weeks**. You can find more info in [PREVIOUS POSTS](https://steemit.com/hive-184714/@davidesimoncini/steem-power-up-e-altre-2e56b7e12ad1). **The percentage indicating how many of the new STEEM tokens released in these two weeks have been blocked in the matter of STEEM POWER** is currently around **44.56%**. This means that **less than 50% of the total amount of STEEM tokens released in the last two weeks has been locked in the matter of STEEM POWER**. The anomaly of the last two weeks is located in the *SBD conversions*: following the conversion of over 150000 SBD tokens, 890000 STEEM tokens more than the average of the period in which we have no conversion were released.

The rewards I earned - between April 22nd and May 7th, 2025 - approximately are:

I saved 9 liquid STEEM tokens, in order to have a liquid prize for the my ***[PHOTOCHAIN](https://steemit.com/italy/@davidesimoncini/photochain-challenge-testnet-edition-number-3d03fcc068005) contest***. Usually I don't complete delegations, but I have a little one out to the @shield-it project, an initiative that aims to mitigate the effects of downvotes performed without any explanation within Steem-based blogs. Then, I keep my balance almost unchanged, and I am trying to remain between club5050 and club75. Due to the SBD reward, my status arrived near the lowest breakpoint of the club5050.
