Lat Monday morning as I was rolled into the dialysis treatment room, my Nephrologist was already there sitting in front of me which was the nurse's station. After I sat she looked at me with a cheery smile and asked me if how I am doing, I automatically said that I am OK and then she looked down to her smartphone and I remembered that I really have to tell her that I am nauseated all the time because my creatinine levels is always high. Prior to that, I told her that I was taking sodium bicarbonate everyday at three tablets every four hours after my meals and that it had improved my breathing. But I forgot to tell her that it had resulted in taking away the high altitude sickness symptoms except the headache which I did not experience because headaches is part of the high altitude sickness symptoms. However I did told her that the gurgling sound in my lungs went away as well. She was surprised that taking sodium bicarbonate had a good effect on me but with regards to having a high creatinine levels in my blood, she just told me not to worry about it because I am getting dialysis anyway which she thinks that is what is important considering that I told her that I was nauseated all the time and need a better cleaning or dialysis dose which is the intensity of cleaning factor to my blood. She is more concerned about my body mass so she just prescribed that I take appetite stimulant which I am still contemplating to buy because it has a sleepy effect on me and I really do not want to get sleepy all the time regardless that it will increase my appetite. However I might try to purchase it soon and see the results, I am hoping that it will work because I am not anorexic anymore like when I was suffering from acidosis which gave me the high-altitude sickness symptoms before. Then my Nephrologist referred me to the Hematologist to have my blood's Hemoglobin levels checked because I was told that it was too high where I got 171 from the 180 limit. It was high even for normal people with only smokers getting that high level because they always inhale carbon dioxide which activates their system to produce more red blood cells. That is why smokers have a reddish glow with their skins. My doctor asked me if I feel a particular symptom regarding it and I said that I am not feeling anything about it. I don't know but I am still not sure if either I am getting an accurate result regarding my hemoglobin levels or it is really bad for me because it is still within the normal range.
