I did asked my nurse why and she told me that a patient is set to be tested for a lab exam which is the monthly bloodwork to see the results before and after the dialysis session. It happens every around second week of the month. The suspicious side of my thoughts is telling me otherwise because my nurses are known to lie for their reason of change in dialysis schedule of patients. The reason that I could think of is that a patient needs dialysis treatment as soon as possible, so they would beg the nurses to place their schedule sooner and thereby affecting the patient who regularly owns that time slot and the nurses would just tell a lie to the affected patients timeslot so that they would just agree. Well it happens and I can just pray for it not to happen frequently. I do not like my regular schedule to get affected or robbed by another patient whatever their reason was because I am also a patient and I only get the chance my blood cleaned-out three times a week considering that the quality of cleaning from my dialysis clinic is out of standard already considering too that we do have a lower standard of dialysis here in Asia compared to the western standard which emphasis a better clean whereas for our standard here emphasizes care for the heart although I think it has no difference. Anyway, the big trouble comes with the fact that my father has a hard time driving at night. If I will be hooked-up at around fifteen to thirty minutes before 4:00 PM which usually happens if they say that the time schedule is 9:00 AM for example, then my hook-up time will be thirty to forty-five minutes after 9:00 AM. So by the time that we will get back home, it will already be dark in the streets and my father has a hard time driving at night, he is nearly 80 years old! So my mother told me to tell the nurse doing the scheduling to not put my schedule later in the day because of the said reasons.
