![Screenshot_20190207164038_2.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/cryptopie/oIvFTYhf-Screenshot_20190207-164038_2.jpg) Last Saturday after my dialysis I did took more than 300 mg of Gabapentin, it is because my mother made a mistake in cutting the big tablet and so one half is bigger than the other, I did took the bigger one because of the length of the days of my next dialysis which was this Wednesday morning from Saturday afternoon. Now it just broke my presumption that Gabapentin was the cause of my crashing blood pressure because I didn't crash my blood pressure this time, in-fact I went home with a much higher blood pressure than when I arrived pre-dialysis. I am a bit sure now also that it was the extra amount of fluids that should not be taken out from my body was the culprit of my crashing blood pressure issue aside from eating while hooked-up at dialysis. Now I really cannot eat anymore at dialysis even though I wanted to because of the fear of that long-standing problem that I had for so many years. I just do not like not completing my session because I can only go twice a week for my dialysis because even though I have an insurance to cover most of it we still pay out of pocket for my treatments because my hospital charges extra despite that they are charging more from my government health insurance. ![backpain3769360_640.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/cryptopie/u1UPIVTF-back-pain-3769360_640.png) Image by LillyCantabile from Pixabay __Severe Muscle Cramps Is A Complication The Removal Of So Much Fluids From The Body At Dialysis__ So I am praying that I can afford a more frequent dialysis session so I can have a better well-being and getting a less restricted diet particularly the fluid restriction because if I really get full with fluids in my body it gets harder from moving to breathing to eating and sleeping anymore. But I have to scrimp on with my health insurance's allocation for my dialysis because dialysis treatment is a very expensive procedure and I can never afford an out of pocket session if not for it. SO I am thankful that at least I am able to go twice a week compared to when I was just starting as a patient where I can only go six time per month and it was deathly hard. Sometimes a patient would take my schedule so I end-up not getting dialyzed for six days. I also had an experience going for dialysis weekly and it was so hard that my body is already getting as stiff like I am suffering from Tetanus already. I will get so bloated with water even though I would really try to limit my fluid intake but if you really are thirsty you will likely to drink even though you will feel like you are drowning already. Then at dialysis you will get removed with seven Kg of water. That itself will give you some serious cramps but I did learned to control my cramps in an effort to complete my session because I will not get dialyzed for another seven days after that. The key to a lower leg muscle cramp is to pull it opposite the contracting muscle and that is what I do when I would experience not just a simple muscle cramps but a severe one, so severe that I would sweat bricks just to do that pulling job with my own muscles. Anyway now I can take my Gabapentin without much worries that it would cause a blood pressure crash but still I am not so sure about that but since I am benefiting much about my Gabapentin use I will just continue in using it for my own well-being.
