На июньские праздники мы с подругой отправились в тур по Ингерманландии. Так когда-то называли часть земель вокруг Санкт-Петербурга. Жемчужиной нашего тура был Иван-город, а точнее, впечатляющая крепость. Но сегодня я покажу крепость, находящуюся не просто на другом берегу реки Нарва, но и в другом государстве. Это Нарвский замок, находящийся в эстонском городе Нарва.	During the June holidays, my friend and I went on a tour of Ingria. This is what part of the land around St. Petersburg was once called. The pearl of our tour was Ivan-gorod, or rather, an impressive fortress. But today I will show you a fortress that is not just on the other side of the Narva River, but also in another country. This is Narva Castle, located in the Estonian city of Narva.
Лучшие виды на Нарвский замок открываются со стен Иван-городской крепости. Две крепости смотрят друг на друга. Нарвская постарше. Эту крепость построили датчане ещё в 13 веке.	The best views of Narva Castle open up from the walls of Ivan-gorod Fortress. Two fortresses look at each other. Narva is older. This fortress was built by the Danes back in the 13th century.

Вид на Нарвскую крепость сквозь окошко средневекового туалета. Тут в целом получился средневековый вид, так как не видно зданий Нарвы, построенных в советский период.

А тут видно вдали советский многоэтажный дом странной формы.	And here, in the distance, you can see a Soviet multi-story building of an odd shape.
Река Нарва в этом месте течет очень стремительно и бурно. Справа мост, по которому проходит граница между Россией и Эстонией. Сейчас возможность пересечь границу есть только у пешеходов, автомобильное движение закрыто. Когда мы гуляли накануне по набережной, я не сразу поняла, почему нам попадается так много людей с чемоданами.	The Narva River flows very quickly and violently in this place. On the right is the bridge that forms the border between Russia and Estonia. Now only pedestrians can cross the border, car traffic is closed. When we were walking along the embankment the day before, I didn’t immediately understand why we were seeing so many people with suitcases.
Иван-город – закрытый пограничный город. Для того, чтобы сюда попасть надо заранее оформлять разрешение. Для нас этим занималась турфирма, организовавшая поездку.	Ivan-gorod is a closed border town. In order to get here, you need to obtain permission in advance. The travel agency that organized the trip did this for us.

С мая этого года, когда со стороны России устраивали концерты и трансляции в честь Дня победы, со стороны Нарвы ответно вывесили плакаты и флаги. Плакатов уже не было, а огромные флаги вы можете увидеть. Длинный флаг в центре – это флаг города Нарвы. По краям флаги Евросоюза, затем флаги Украины (цвета похожи на флаг Нарвы, но расположены в другом порядке), затем флаги Эстонии. И эстонский флаг на флагштоке.

Since May of this year, when concerts and broadcasts in honor of Victory Day were organized on the Russian side, posters and flags were hung on the Narva side in response. There were no posters anymore, but you can see the huge flags. The long flag in the center is the flag of the city of Narva. On the edges are the flags of the European Union, then the flags of Ukraine (the colors are similar to the flag of Narva, but arranged in a different order), then the flags of Estonia. And the Estonian flag on the flagpole.
