Realmente fue ayer! XD De verdad, el tiempo me parece que pasa excesivamente rápido, no se ustedes, pero quedan 4 meses para que termine el año y me parece el año más corto que he vivido hasta ahora. Pues, como de costumbre me he levantado super temprano, a pesar de ser Domingo, aunque ya los días son iguales a estas alturas. Afortunadamente llegó el agua temprano y pude cepillarme los dientes con el agua del grifo, sin tener que cargar ninguna cubeta. Yay :D Ya las 6:15am estoy sentado frente al computador, revisando mis correos, mi whasap (*le decimos de muchas formas*) y los titulares del periódico. Me asombro que cada vez hay más personas contagiadas a diario. Sin embargo, si me pongo a pensarlo bien, no es del todo nada nuevo, aquí las personas usan el tapabocas de sombrero! Se cubren el mentón, el cuello y la boca (nada más), la nariz la dejan por fuera porque son inmortales… Pero bueno, ya me salí del tema. Me dedico a programar, echar código, como decimos los programadores, cosa que omito porque de seguro los hago dormir inmediatamente. Es difícil aprender nuevos lenguajes de programación. Eso es lo malo de mi carrera, todo cambia a una velocidad vertiginosa, lo que uno aprendió en la universidad no sirve de nada. Hay que estar constantemente actualizándose. Se hacen las 11 de la mañana y me levanto a tomar unas fotos para el post de hoy (este que están leyendo). En la siguiente imagen, pueden ver las fotos de cómo se ve desde mi pequeña ventana. Hay poca gente en la calle, se pueden ver los edificios y si se fijan bien, el riel del metro de Caracas. Hoy no lo ví. Pero normalmente, debería funcionar todos los días; aunque en estos momentos solo el personal con salvoconducto puede usarlo. Es decir, muy pocas personas. https://i.imgur.com/kvMLD26.jpg En esta otra imagen, pueden ver los hermoso que es el paisaje que se puede apreciar desde el pasillo de enfrente del apartamento (*estoy siendo sarcástico, para los que no me conocen*). https://i.imgur.com/k9grTVS.jpg Pueden apreciar, la fauna y la flora y la arquitectura icónica de mi país (puro rancho! Como diría @hellenmor XD). Pero bueno, esto es Caracas, la ciudad más grande de mi país, no se puede pedir más. Después de almorzar, nuevamente continúo echando código. Por cierto, aquí el almuerzo es la comida más fuerte del día. Generalmente la hacemos de 12 del mediodía a 1pm. Ni el desayuno, ni la cena son comidas pesada. El almuerzo es la “papa” mas fuerte de todas, así llamamos a las comidas, también. De hecho, también lo usamos como verbo: Yo papeo, tu papeas, nosotros papeamos (comer). Interesante, no? Y Así, niños y niñas, vamos dañando cada vez más nuestro lenguaje ;P Finalmente cae la noche, sin pena ni gloria, bajo una melodiosa letra de *Bring me to life*, de Evanescence acapella. Sí, es algo que tenemos los programadores. Sin musica, no rendimos. Generalmente antes de comenzar a programar, debemos elegir la música que nos hará entrar en la *zona*. Y así se escurre un domingo, como los granos de un reloj de arena, imposible de parar, entra la noche junto con el frío de la Capital. Esta es otra de las cosas que tiene esta ciudad, su clima es muy agradable. En donde solía vivir, todo el tiempo hacía un calor infernal. Pues no hubo nada relevante este día… Hará mi hermano *cotufas* (palomitas de maíz) esta noche? Me encantan :D Por cierto, si desayuné y almorcé, pero cuando estoy frente a la computadora, presto muy poca atención a lo que sucede a mi alrededor. Excepto si hay alguna emergencia. XD Really, time seems to me to pass excessively fast, I don't know about you, but there are 4 months left in the year and it seems to me the shortest year I have lived so far. Well, as usual, I got up super early, despite being Sunday, although the days are already the same at this point to me. Luckily the water came early and I was able to brush my teeth with the tap water, without having to carry any buckets. Yay :D At 6:15am I'm already sitting in front of my desktop, checking my emails, my whasap (*we call it a lot of ways*), and the newspaper headlines. I am amazed that more and more people are infected every day in my country. However, if I think about it, it is not completely new, here people wear masks like hats! Sometimes, they used to cover their chin with the mask, other times their necks, and most times their mouths (nothing else), they leave their nose out because they are immortal... And again, I'm out of the subject. After breakfast, I devote myself to programming, throwing code, as we programmers say, which I omit because for sure I make you sleep immediately. It's hard to learn new programming languages. That's the bad thing about my career, everything changes at a dizzying speed, what you learned in college is useless. You have to be constantly updating yourself. It's 11 am and I get up to take some pictures for today's post (the one you're reading now). In the next image, you can see the pictures of how it looks from my little window. There are few people on the street, you can see the buildings and if you look closely, the subway tracks of Caracas. I didn't see it today. But normally, it should work every day; although at this moment only the staff with a safe-conduct can use it. As it would say @hellenmor XD). But well, this is Caracas, the biggest city in my country, you can't ask for more. After lunch, again I continue throwing code. By the way, here lunch is the strongest meal of the day. We usually have it from noon to 1 pm. Neither breakfast nor dinner is a heavy meal. Lunch is the strongest "potato" of all, that's how we call meals, too. In fact, we also use it as a verb: I potato, you potato, we potato (to eat). Interesting, isn't it? And so, boys and girls, we are increasingly damaging our language ;P Finally, night falls, with no shame or glory, under a melodious lyric of *Bring me to life*, by Evanescence acapella. Yes, that's something we programmers have. Without music, we can not work. Usually, before we start programming, we have to choose the music that will get us into the *zone*. And that's how a Sunday slips by, like the grains of an hourglass, impossible to stop, the night comes in along with the cold of the Capital. This is another thing this city has, its climate is very pleasant. Where I used to live, it was hot as hell all the time. Well, there was nothing relevant this day...
