**A journey with full of Surprises| An Adventure from Multan to Layyah (My Village)**

******** It all started at the railway station of Multan Cantt, where I arrived early in the morning, around 6:00 am, because the train was supposed to arrive at 6:30 am. I was very excited for this journey, as I was travelling to my village, where I spent all my childhood. As I stepped on the station platform, the usual Tea Sellers, Luggage-laden Passengers and the travelers filled the air. After waiting for half an hour, we found out that the train was late, *as usual, a Pakistani train journey without delayed flights can never be possible*. Finally, the train arrived, and the people outside it rushed in like a Black Friday Sale. The adventure begins officially here.

******** > **The Journey on Train: The Rollercoaster on the Tracks** ******** In the minutes, the city faded away, and open fields and mountains took its place. I was observing my fellow passengers while sipping the tea. There was a student group who were loudly discussing cricket and the Pakistani Cricket Team. An old man in my opposite seat was snoring so load and its synchronises with the sound of train. Passing through the Stations.

The train stops at different stations after intervals. At each station, vendors are rushed to feed the hungry travelers with the snacks they have. When the train stopped at **“Muzafargarh station”**, I called my best friend, who is basically from Muzafargarh, and said to her that I was here in your city, come and pick me up. She already knew that I was joking with her. As the train was about to reach my city, Layyah, my excitement grew more.

******** > **My Village (Layyah)| The Land of Peace, Love, and my Family Inspections** ******** As I stepped off the train, my father and my family were there to pick me up, they welcomed me in a way like I was *a war returning hero*. After reaching home, my little cousin, who was very close to me, snatched my glasses and *checked my bag for money*. I spent the next few days walking in the middle of mustard grass, like I was the heroine of some *Bollywood Movie*. Walking through the fields, I remembered my childhood memories, hide and seek in the long grasses.

The hens ran away from me, as in my childhood, I was the one who often caught little chickens.

^{All pictures are taken with my camera} I spent my evening under the open sky full of stars, while my father told us stories about “the good old days”, and we really enjoyed it. Upon my return, my bag was filled with homemade sweets, Desi Ghee, and a live Chicken (which I obviously did not take with me). And this is how, my steemian friends, my journey from Multan to Layyah ended up with many unforgettable memories, waves of laughter, and one confused chicken.
