Since the stores are shut down except for essential supplies, and the fact that we are not supposed to leave home unless it is for food or medicine, I cannot replace this faulty switch. I have tried to rewire it three times without all of the equipment that I need. This is a very old pottery wheel and the switch has been shorted out. I replaced the cord with a new cord and I also replaced the connectors but the only operating position is high. The switch should toggle between high, off and low. I worked on rewiring the switch using the materials that I have available to no avail. I may just throw clay on high to see how far I can get. I will be able to center the clay, but shaping the clay will not occur on a fast revolving wheel. I will check to see if I can order the part that I need online. It may take a while to be delivered, but I have a lot of time available. Enjoy your day.
