Actifit needs me to have a spring in my step and/or constantly keep an eye on it to ensure it continues the count. So this still requires me to have a 'special attention' and I can't just go for a walk and not think about it. Which is slightly annoying, not gonna lie. While on our walks we found roots like these by a creek - ![](https://usermedia.actifit.io/ac38467a-a49f-46f8-878f-e757a4e88a16) An app on my phone recognized it as white turmeric, which couldn't be further from the truth as it is actually the poisonous *cicuta virosa* also known as the cowbane or northern water hemlock. Moral of the story? Don't blindly trust everything your apps tell you, kids! Verify! Catch you later!
