I need not to ask if you are enjoying the new year because I know that the year already has come with some many good things. So, keep enjoying yourself as you read through my diary on the day I left work just to take my only sister to her school. In a family of 7, she is the only girl. And because of that we have all wished a better future for her. Everything within our power we have been doing to see that our Ada (first daughter) has a better future. So we registered her for school of nursing which she took the entrance exam and passed. Come and see the happiness in every one face that our Ada has passed the entrance exam. Upon resumption, she had to come down to Uyo where I live from where I will take her to their campus. So, on the 10th of December, we left for her school after I had first reached my place of work and set up my working machine. On arriving the campus, we moved straight to the administration block for her registration. What I actually thought would have taken me few hours to do almost consumed all my time as I couldn't help to leave her run the registration alone so I had to stay to make sure everything was done successfully. ![IMG_20241210_104628_766.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmX1mdnagrx6ncmCAAqWpdcoRQAPjbAwk1yixVa3Hzxd9w/IMG_20241210_104628_766.jpg) Image taken with my phone By the time I was done with everything, it was already noon ( some minutes to 2pm) so I had to hurriedly boarded a taxi back so I could catch up with work. Some students were already seated waiting for me even though my apprentice was there, they still wanted me to return and handle their work by myself. When I got to my stand, my apprentice had already ordered food and was eating. He was shocked when he saw me coming.

Images taken with my phone There was so many work on my table to attend to when I arrived. Since time was fast running, I had to start treating them one after the other so I could meet up before it will get so dark. I was a bit relaxed treating those files not minding the time because my wife traveled. So she won't be worried and be calling for me to come back home. By the time I was done, it was already few minutes to 10 pm. I had nothing to eat at home that night so I had to stop and buy a road side food (rice) and some oranges which I took for dinner that night.
