It feels absolutely great to join you on this awesome platform. As this is my first post, I will make a promise to you. I promise to inform you of great things happening in the world and to entertain you at the same time. I am a passionate writer but I rarely post my writing online. This is about to change.

From this day forward you can expect from me at least one post a day (but probably more), on topics in any of the below listed topic areas. What are the topic areas listed below? They are everything that used to or still does interests, motivates and inspires me. I hope to transfer a bit of that motivation and inspiration to you, the Steemit community.

The Steemit Topic Area Tree

The topic areas listed below form what I will from this post on start calling the Steemit Topic Area Tree or STAT. My STAT will expand as I draw inspiration from the community.

One big part of my STAT is posting about startups and especially about my idea for a project to drive change using an innovative online platform.

I am here for the long run because I deeply believe in Steemit’s success and I will prove that with my engagement on this platform.

What all this means? It means that one day I will write about policy and other days I will write about my trip to Dubai or Paris or who knows where :)

My project (Still an idea, actually)

During my student days I came up with an idea of creating an online platform for people interested in policies. I drafted a business plan which I never published but rather kept on improving it and spreading the word about my idea. I am now looking for partners to work with me on transforming this idea into a project.

This platform would be an innovative social network that rests on five pillars: solidarity, reputation, education, digitalisation, and big data. There are three main objectives this platform would aim to complete: (1) To generate more public interest in policy and decision making; (2) To insure more and better informed policy and decision makers; (3) To clearly separate effective policies from the redundant ones. I would like this platform to operate using blockchain technology.

I will soon write a much longer post about this project and I would appreciate your feedback on it.
