Hi everyone! My name is Miriam. I love writing and sharing, so my husband told me about this amazing place (maybe he just wanted a few minutes of silence - but let me to believe he is romantic). After a while of watching, I gathered courage and here I am, writing my first steemit. Happy to be part of this cool place! So a little about who I am... When I started studying, I did not have a clear choice of what I am interested in - or, what is not interesting me. So I have a first degree of cognitive science and arts. Cognitive science includes lots of different domains (of course, little from every domain), accept to art. Now I am doing a master degree, neglecting my art side in favor of studying the brain. I am researching memory and I think that most of my writing will be around and about our wondrous brain. Ones in a while I have fun with making art. I love traveling, and I really like to bake and cook (profitable for people around me). I also like to take old and broken thing, and turn it into beautiful furniture or art. A few years ago, at a moving, my carrier threw away a table I repaired, turns out sometimes only I see the beauty. But don't worry, I have now a new (old) table. I enjoy life, overall, and mostly meta-life, that is, stuff that happen but you can’t say it is life. for example, sometime I hear one talking to his phone, somehow that sentence is a beginning of a poet. Sometime one’s face is causing me to imagine his childhood, and sometime a lame movie seems to have a debate with the greatest philosopher. I am here to share with you, hope our journey will be pretty… P.S. I am Hebrew speaker so I really hope that I don't have huge mistakes. If I do so, please correct me. >הנני כאן, כמו ציפורים חגות >הנני כאן, מביט מן הגגות > הנני כאן, כמו אבן בגדר, > כמו סלע, כמו באר היי! אני מרים. אני מאוד אוהבת לכתוב ולשתף, ובן הזוג היקר שלי הציע לי לבוא לכאן. אחרי תקופה של סטוקינג והצצה מלמעלה (לא בטוחה שזו משמעות השיר אבל ככה זה נשמע, "מביט מן הגגות", לא?) , אזרתי אומץ לכתוב :) הנה אני, שמחה להיות חלק מהקהילה המגניבה הזו! אני רוצה שתכירו אותי - את התואר הראשון שלי עשיתי במדעי הקוגניציה ואומנויות, פשוט כי היה קשה לי להחליט מה מעניין אותי. מדעי הקוגניציה כוללים ממש הרבה תחומים (וכמובן, מעט מכל תחום), חוץ מאומנויות. עכשיו אני סטודנטית לתואר שני, וזנחתי את הצד האומנותי שבי לטובת מדעי הקוגניציה והמוח. אני חוקרת זיכרון ואני חושבת שעיקר הדברים שאכתוב יהיו תופעות מרתקות וסופר מגניבות שקורות למוח שלנו. אני מידי פעם משתעשעת באומנות, אני אוהבת מאוד לטייל, והתחביב שהכי משתלם לחברים שלי - אני מתה על בישול ואפייה. אני גם מאוד אוהבת לקחת דברים ישנים או שבורים ולהפוך אותם לרהיטים מהממים או תמונות. לפני כמה שנים כשעברתי דירה, המוביל זרק לפח שולחן סלון יפה ששיפצתי - מסתבר שלפעמים רק אני רואה את היופי... אבל לא נורא, מאז כבר שיפצתי שולחן אחר. (בתמונה למעלה, צילמתי לכם את השולחן שעדיין בחיים) באופן כללי אני נהנית מאוד מהחיים, ובעיקר מהמטה-חיים, כלומר, מדברים שקורים סביב החיים אבל הם לא לגמרי החיים. מבינים? לדוגמא, לפעמים אני שומעת משפט אחד שמישהו זורק בטלפון, ואיכשהו זו התחלה של שיר. לפעמים פנים של אדם גורמות לי לדמיין את הילדות שלו, ולפעמים סרט סתמי ופופולרי נראה לי כמתווכח עם הוגי דעות קדומים. אני כאן כדי לחלוק איתכם, מקווה שהדרך שלנו תהיה יפה...
