Learning jazz doesn't have to be complicated.

Do this:

Learn the melody of a song you like
Learn the chords of the song
Find a way to play a solo guitar version of it
Learn to play all the arpeggios for the song
Connect them through the changes
Learn licks that you can use on that song
Write an etude as a way to study the song
Jam on the song & perform it
Repeat steps 6 to 8 as needed
Repeat steps 1 to 9 on the next song
