거의 1년만에 베트남에 다시 돌아왔다. 다시 돌아오게 될 줄도 몰랐고 그리워 할줄도 몰랐다. 한국에서나 미국에서 있을땐 몰랐던, 두 나라에 존재 하지 않은 에너지라는 부분이 이 나라에 있다는걸 깨달았다. 대화를 해도 느낌이 다르고 말이 잘 안통한다고 해도 그 사람의 포부를 느낄 수 있다. 한국에서 친구를 만나도 진부한 예비군이야기, 공무원이야기가 아닌 다른 이야기를 찾아 여기에 온게 아닐까? 이 뜨거운 공기와 습한 바람을 느끼는 순간 " 아 드디어 왔다" 하지만 이번엔 드디어 내가 있어야할 곳에 왔다는 느낌을 받았다. 어색하지도 않고 자연스럽게 다 까먹은 베트남어를 다시 생각하며 텍시를 잡고 집으로 향했다.

In Korea, Chuseok is considered as the most biggest holiday and important for Korean as much as Lunar New year. Funnily, Even in Vietnam it also has the same day like that, Actually the countries who got influenced by China have it. However, the way they enjoy this holiday was totally different. It was just holiday for the kids, which means only kids taking a leave for this holiday. Still the family gather together and having a dinner as Korea though. I was the lucky one who has invited by lovely Vietnamese family and feel the chaotic local atmosphere

한국 사람들이 자부심을 가져야한다. 베트남에가면 이제는 한국말이 들리고 심지어 여기 가족중 삼촌은 한국어를 너무 잘해서 깜작 놀랐다. 삼성에서 10년간 일했다고 하니... 나와 친구의 유일한 비밀 대화수단인 한국어를 쓸 수없게 되는 순간이였다. 차려진 음식은 월남쌈! 한국어 하시는 삼촌이 설명하는거 듣고 거의 한국인인줄 알았다. 솔직히 내 입맛에는 맛지 않아서 많이 먹진 못했지만 한번쯤 먹어볼만했다. 그보다 베트남도 한국 못지 않은 주류소비국임을 다시 한번 느끼게 되었다. And I am really appreciated who has invited me in this party, Cong. And it was quite hilarious and impressive you translated my English to English to your mom who has no any knowledge about English lol.
