Drop that crap and learn to laugh at yourself! The first thing many would say is 'What?!!' It's quite an imaginable response! Actually I have received that several times when I tell this to people! But indeed its quite important you do that because you are hurting yourself as a person by not doing that! You are restricting your development as a human being, as an individual by not doing that! We as human beings tend to laugh at other people! Reasons could be several, many would not be to intentionally inferiorate someone, may be a honest laughter just peeped out! Laughing at someone may be bad or good in accordance with how the 'way you addressed' is perceived by the person opposite to you! If the person who you laughed at is taking it in a positive approach and using it to better himself or herself then yes your contribution is good! But if you are using it to demotivate someone or your laughing at someone was from a judgemental approach then I tell you, it is hurting them as well as you! You may not realize but yes you need to work on yourself! You somehow are feeling that you are better than the other person, may be you are, may be not, but either-which ways is a dishonorable act! The same way as we tend to laugh at others, we should also laugh at ourself- at our mistakes, our imperfections, our foolishness and all the other things in us that possibly other people may laugh for when they see us or interact with us! Laughing at yourself will increase your consciousness! You will be more aware about yourself! You will see yourself emerging into a better you! With that being said too much consciousness may also lead you to feeling unworthy or you may get hold of that 'not upto the mark' feeling which is harmful to oneself!
