# **THE DEVINE WORLD OF NUMEROLOGY**
Recently Numerology has really caught my eye, it is still very new to me, however what I have discovered so far has been very surprising. The accuracy and relevance to my life feels almost surreal. How can we deny something that some of the greatest minds and civilisations in history had belief in. It is also the study of the numerical value of the letters in words, names and ideas. It is often associated with the paranormal alongside astrology and similar divinatory arts. I will attempt to describe how to get started, and get you on your way to potentially understanding a deeper side of yourself, your journey and possibly the universe.

### **LIFE PATH NUMBER:**
Your Life Path Number is said to reveal opportunities, challenges and lessons you will encounter in this lifetime. Your life path number is generated using your date of birth. **How to calculate your Life Path Number:** Using your complete date of birth, start by adding together the numbers in the month you were born, if you are left with a double digit number, continue by adding those numbers together until you are left with a single digit number. Do the same for the day and then the year, the only exception is if you encounter master numbers 11/22/33 they are not reduced. You should now be left with 3 separate numbers, add all three numbers together, once again if you are left with a double digit number, continue to reduce it down by adding the numbers together, stopping at a single digit number or one of the master numbers 11/22/33. **Example:** 08/19/1980 0 + 8 = 8 1 + 9 = 10 (reduce it down) 1 + 0 = 1 1 + 9 + 8 + 0 = 18 (reduce it down) 1 + 8 = 9 **Add the totals:** 8 + 1 + 9 = 18 (reduce it down) 1 + 8 = 9 **LIFE PATH NUMBER: 9** ### **SOUL URGE NUMBER:**
Your Soul Urge number _(a.k.a. Hearts Desire)_ is said to be a reflection of the inner you, your true self lying deep beneath the surface of your projected personality. It speaks to your true desires and motivations. **How to calculate your Soul Urge Number:** Your Soul Urge Number is calculated by adding all the vowels **(AEIOU)** in your full name together as shown on your birth certificate, including any middle names. ### **DESTINY NUMBER:**
Your Destiny Number _(a.k.a. Expression number)_ is believed to represent your talents, abilities, and shortcomings that you brought with you when you entered this human existence. **How to calculate your Destiny Number:** Using the same table above, assign each character of your full name a number. Add all the numbers together, and as we did previously, reduce that down by adding the resulting numbers together until you are left with a single digit number or stop if you encounter one of the master numbers 11/22/33. **Example:** JOHN LEE JONES 1 + 6 + 8 + 5 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 1 + 6 + 5 + 5 + 1 = 51 (reduce it down) 5 + 1 = 6 **DESTINY NUMBER: 6**
### **PERSONALITY NUMBER:**
Your Personality Number is said to reveal qualities and attributes you possess that you are comfortable sharing with others. This may reveal how you are perceived in public. **How to calculate your Personality Number:** Your Personality Number is calculated by adding up all the consonants in your full name, as it appears on your birth certificate. Once again use the table above to do this. As we have done previously reduce the number down by adding the resulting numbers together until a single digit number, or master number 11/22/33 is remaining. **Consonants: B C D F G H J K L M N P Q R S T V W X Y Z.** **Example:** JOHN LEE JONES Consonants = J H N L J N S 1 + 8 + 5 + 3 + 1 + 5 + 1 = 24 (reduce it down) 2 + 4 = 6 **PERSONALITY NUMBER: 6**
