Hello dear Steeminas, first of all, sorry for not making the Part II of the [How to Make a Knife](https://steemit.com/life/@docsmith/5vpf08my), it was my wife's birthday and I simply didn't have the time. Until I do make the tutorial video, I'll show you this little jewel - a smaller Gyoto that I did with a magnetic stand. It really did come out quite nice, but enough of self-praise, first the stats and then build progression to the final product in a video. Steel: 1095 - differential heat treatment, acid hamon Handle (from the blade): +5000 YO abonos (bog oak), Corian and plum. *Bedding the tang* This is done by coating the tang with beeswax and jamming it into the handle while glueing the handle. What this does is assures everything stays aligned during the glueing and making it possible to remove the knife in order to profile the handle.
