The Finished Cheese

Yesterday morning I made yogurt and put in my Yogurt Maker. The remaining yogurt went into a glass bowl with a lid and I wrapped it in two towels. I pre-heated the oven to 190 degrees and turned the oven off. At three hours I took out and brought the temperature back up and again at 6 hours. After 9 hours the Yogurt being made in the oven was done.

I then put two layers of cheese cloth in my strainer and put it over a bowl. I let the whey drip for 24 hours. Tonight it was Greek Cheese.

Chives And Basil In Small Pieces

Chop up whatever herbs you desire in a small bowl. Use from the herb garden or buy Organic Herbs.

Mix the Herbs And The Cheese And Place In Bowl

In the same 24 hours you can make togurt and cheese. What a delight that is. Happy Cooking!
