Just thirty one days ago, we were all here celebrating the new year, it felt like the universe gave us his word saying "This is another chance to live right, don't screw this up". And we were all like "Oh thank you, you wont get disappointed. Look, i have a paper in my hand, it is the list of things I would do and will achieve by the time you call for the expiration of this privilege". February like every other months have a lot of events and history attached to it. Good and bad memories flood the days of the month; failures and calamities were recorded in different days of this month, so also were great successes. Many of these success were not as a result of hope or swimming in the pools of imaginations. They were products of actions. People took steps to make sure they were migrated from their imaginations in to the real world- you know, you can't spend as much time in the dream world as you spend in our real worlds.

Moltivational speakers make you feel on the moon

I have listened too a lot of motivational speakers, they speak with enthusiasm , their words have the ability to lighten up an hopeless mind. They make you feel like if they did it, you can do it. But it's just a pity that after they leave, there is a depreciation in the level of energy we had while they had the mic in their hands. This brought me to a discovery; motivation don't last. Motivational books, tapes and stories are a short-time gratifying tools for lazy people. Real successful people irrespective of motivation work towards acheiving goal, this boild down to the real thing, inspiration.

What is inspiration? Inspiration comes from within. You get ideas, sit down, plan about it and of course, you get great feelings and feel happy. You should know that feelings are hormonal; they are orchestrated by different hormones secreted by the body and they are always fluctuating. You don't expect to always feel the same way- this is why I pity people who marry our of feeling. Feeling will fade but faithfulness keep you. Love is not a feeling, it is a decision. You must get this if you want to be successful- get yourself our of what Hollywood, Nollywood and Bollywood have feed you, they are only after getting your money.

Stop getting excited, take action!!

Success is a decision; you decide to do a routine everyday irrespective of you feeling like doing it or not. Bill gates doesn't always feel like coding, if he says "I have never felt like not coding, not even a single second". Tell him "I have never felt like breathing, not even a single micro-second". What kept him going is a decision to be successful, he has a goal ahead of him. Decision when made comes along with his closest extended families; dedication, consistency, Mr. No self pity, humility, determination, dr. Anti-procrastination, perseverance, learning and greatest of them all; action.

It's not too late to take the year by it's horn. Dust yourself up because nobody receives a noble price at being lazy or consistent whiner. No one sees work, they all are after results. Result on the other hand comes with a price. There is nothing free here on earth, if you disagree with this, comment in the box below and lets initiate the debate. Stop the comparing mechanism in place, never do you find two people with identical DNA, my cousins who are identical twins don't share the same genetic makeup and obviously don't behave in a certain way.
