The next time you encounter an obstacle in your life (by obstacle we refer to any event that does not go out as you had planned and prevent you from progressing where you wanted), you will have to change your way of perceiving it. To do this, follow these steps: - Calm your emotions. Ask yourself the following question: "What has just happened prevents me from acting with justice, generosity, self-control, sanity, prudence, honesty, humility and openness?" This will change your focus, and will orient you towards these new qualities. - Be objective. Ask yourself: "What advice would you give to someone who is going through this same obstacle?" - Focus on your playing area, questioning what action you can take and what is under your control in a given situation. Eliminate from your head the factors that you can not control, because they will only increase your frustration. - Live the present. Take a deep breath and, for 1 minute, do not think about the possible consequences of your obstacle or what you should have done to avoid it, you are here and there is only now; Focus on the present and clear your mind.
