for today's post, as I don't really have anything to share except for the screenshot of the Ableton session below, but I'm going to try and film some live video performances this coming week using my new synth, the Arturia Microfreak! I decided to splurge on a synth the other night, and after a bit of research, I decided to go for this baby, and I'm definitely not disappointed. Just out of the box, there are some awesome presets, and the amount of depth you can go into modulating things is actually really impressive considering the size and price of the device. I didn't have everything set up for MIDI controlling yet, so I just played some random stuff, using various presets I found while just scrolling through the list, so some things are a little off; but, in my defense, this isn't a song, haha, just an exploration of a new thing, so I can get a little lazy with the accuracy. I'm definitely going to be using this a lot, and hope to do some live performances with it later this week, after I really delve into it and understand how everything functions.
