Few months ago, the Photocircle project had an opportunity to be part of an incredible community ~ ***The Mesopotamians***. A community of amazing like-minded individuals that is being led by @tcpolymath, *you might have known him through his work in Minnowbooster, Steem basic income, & many other communities.* ![QmX8U6kmyhzP47m5LdQ1DKoQGRCZYW8vLJ2KgYuhwBSbMY.jpeg](https://ipfs.busy.org/ipfs/QmW6focsYRJ5bEHjnVGbxLVb4FbvX2htVq7kXyXwoJPLda) In this initiative, one of the interesting features is Dr. Worm’s Minnow-making Machine in which a plankton level account will be supported by the @doctorworm account by means of “zero-minute” upvotes until the beneficiary will grow and reach the minnow level. Few weeks ago, we have been notified through @steemitboard’s ranking that we have reached the minnow level. At the same period, we featured in the post written by @themesopotamians mentioning about our level-up to the program. I must say, ***it’s considered to be one of the milestones accomplished by the Photocircle project!*** In this level-up program, a beneficiary is expected to come-up to a new feature in addition to the on-going program that the beneficiary already have. *What an encouragement!* And it comes on the right timing, since we have thinking to add a new feature to our program, *the level-up also gave us the motivation that we need.* About two weeks ago, we have finally released the **”Photocircle Weekly Photographer spot!”** In this new feature, we will personally select an active contributor to the current week to be awarded with the spot! We have been finding ways on how to effectively support an author/photographer that is participating/contributing his time & creativity to the Photocircle program. As a Weekly photographer, an author/photographer will be featured to a Photocircle post & will be rewarded with a full upvote from the @photocircle for three times (300% upvote)! The best thing about this new feature is that it can be awarded alongside the other feature of the projects. Which means, an author/photographer is eligible to win the TOP 10 Contributor contest, Hall of Fame contest, & still be the Weekly photographer of the week.
