I really want to get into painting again

...and I've always been fascinated by gouache paintings. So, for my mental health and just to start a new hobby, I decided to buy myself a gouache pallet! This pallet was £19.79 which is about 108.85 STEEM. I chose this specific pallet as it has 36 colours, and came with paintbrushes and a surface to mix colours on. Gouache paint is water-based, and it's meant to be opaque (slightly transparent). I've seen many painters use it as a layering paint, starting from their backing colour and then building up to the final finished painting. In some ways, it is similar to watercolour. I've never used gouache before so hopefully I'll be good haha.

I haven't opened them for this post as I am planning to show in a future post the pots opened and a (hopefully) good painting that I would do with it!!
