Slothicorn is a project set up on the Steemit Blockchain that rewards artists for their art work. Behind this project is a generous delegation from @stellabelle which powers the value of the votes. This allows artists earn crypto for their artwork.

Last month I prepared an analysis which looked at the votes given by @slothicorn to ascertain a value and see how many artists have been supported by this project. I also looked at postings made to ‘#slothicorn to see how active this project is.

To follow on from last month’s post, the aim of the analysis today is to establish how this has progressed since the last report. We will look at the votes and approximate vote values given by @slothicorn and we will also look at the #slothicorn tag.

In total 396 authors have received 1840 votes on 1756 posts from @slothicorn. The average voting weight used was 50.64% with an approx.. pay out of $4 SBD per vote and a total approx. pay out of 7.22K SBD.

Since last reporting @slothicorn has reached 120% more artists and has voted 127% more times. With this increase in the number of votes we have also seen a decrease in the average voting weight used from 63.53% to 50.64%.

The average vote value is now $4 down from $6. This is due to a combination of lower average voting weight used and a lower price of STEEM and SBD since last reporting. Overall there has been a 52% increase in the pay-outs given by votes from @slothicorn since last reporting.

What amazing growth. Since the start of 2018 2,288 authors have been made to #slothicorn, that’s an increase of 163% since the last report. The number of posts made this year has increase 271% since last reporting to 2,867.

These posts have received 9,956 comments, and increase of 211% since last report and the net votes received has increased 283% to 69K.

Finally the total post pay out for this category has also increased by 107% to 19.16K. Of this 19.16K @slothicorn has contributed 7.22K or 38%. Down from 51% in the last report. This indicates that support for #slothicorn has grown and there is less reliance on @slothicorn to fully support the project.

The average post pay out for this category is $6.68 SBD.

The table on the left shows the authors sorted by the number of votes received by @slothicorn and showing the approx. weight used for voting.

The table in the center shows the number of posts each author submitted to #slothicorn and the table on the right shows the most active steemain based on comments with the number of comments left.

Conclusion

Really fantastic growth seen here @slothcorn. Congratulations on the work.

@Solthicorn curate posts manually so to see 127% increase in the number of votes over the last 6 weeks on a year to date total is really good work.

It is also awesome to see such a large increase (271%) in the number of posts made using the #slothicorn tag. I can see this making curation so much more time consuming for the team.
