Tequeños recipe ingredients:

300 grams of wheat flour.

2 butter spoons.

1 egg.

White cheese and you can choose between: Smoked Cooked Back, if you want some delicious bacon-flavored tequeños, or Superior Cooked Ham for a more classic flavor.

Salt.

How to make tequeños?:

1- Place the flour in the shape of a volcano together with the egg, butter and salt.

2- Knead all this and go adding water to the eye percent until you feel that the dough is smooth.

3- Leave the dough to rest for about 20 minutes.

4- While taking the opportunity to cut the cheese into sticks 5 to 7 cm long and 1 cm thick and cut the Smoked Cooked Back or Superior Cooked Ham sausage also with these measures.

5- After 20 minutes, roll out the dough with the help of a rolling pin until it is fine.

6- Cut the dough into strips of 2 cm. approximately wide and 12 long.

7- Roll it diagonally with the cheese sticks and the strips of ham, taking care that there are no holes so that it does not come out when frying.

8- Squeeze the tips so that the cheese and ham are not visible.

9- Fry in oil until golden brown.
