The teams for Season 24 of the rebranded [Steemit Challenge have just been announced](https://steemit.com/steemit/@steemitblog/steemit-update-april-12th-2025-steemit-learning-challenge-season-24). We are delighted that a team of [three Atlas Ambassadors](https://steemit.com/challengepitch/@mohammadfaisal/application-for-steemit-challenge-season-24-steem-atlas-challenge-pitch) has been selected to run a Steem Atlas Challenge for this new season. To celebrate we have decided to increase the prizes again for the main Atlas Challenge. Up until now there has been a weekly prize pool of 150 STEEM for the top 5 on the Leaderboard, with the prizes increasing to 550 STEEM for the top 10 at the end of each month. During the six weeks of the Steemit Challenge we will be giving out prizes totalling 550 STEEM to the top 10 on the Leaderboard EVERY WEEK. That's a total of 3300 STEEM to be won in April and May. The Atlas Challenge

On each of those days, at 12noon UTC, we will be taking a snapshot of the Leaderboard and awarding prizes to the top **ten** Steem Atlas authors... * **1st place = 100 STEEM** * **2nd place = 90 STEEM** * **3rd place = 80 STEEM** * **4th place = 70 STEEM** * **5th place = 60 STEEM** * **6th place = 50 STEEM** * **7th place = 40 STEEM** * **8th place = 30 STEEM** * **9th place = 20 STEEM** * **10th place = 10 STEEM** This will make a total prize pool of 3300 STEEM during Season 24 of the Steemit Challenge. --- The prize event on 14 April will be the normal 150 STEEM for the top five positions on the Leaderboard at 12noon UTC. ---
