For today's devotional since I started on Genesis I will go ahead and continue on it. This time we will go back to the time of Noah.

On his time, the Lord how great man's wickedness and decided to wipe away mankind on the face of the earth all are now evil on the eyes of the Lord but Noah was found pleasing to him.

The voice of the Lord was clear as he instructed Noah to build an ark to save him together with his family. In stories and even in cartoons that I watched when I was a kid Noah was insulted and was told that he was crazy preparing for a flood wherein it is not raining.

But here's what we can observe on the life of Noah that time, he obeyed on everything as God commanded him. As a Christian when God is telling us to do something, like really not into our zone how do we respond? On my case before, more often that not I decline because I am afraid that I might mess up even though I know that somehow I can do it.

God ask us to do what Noah did to completely put trust in Him.If we place everything to God's word we can be assured that he will not fail us.

At times we fail, but we are always reminded that when God says "trust me on this" "I have your back my child" isn't it assuring? Plus He always keeps his promise to us. Noah survived the flood, though in modern times as God had stated that he will not destroying the earth with the same manner. What we can apply on life is though we have struggles, events in our lives we will always be comforted and victory will surely be given to us.

My Prayer for this afternoon:

May we be like Noah, that responded to God's command without any hesitation. May we trust him more and learn to lean on him as we press on life. As for me, be more intimate with Him and fill my cup. Also I pray for the activity later this afternoon 5:00 PM PH Time I will have my 1st One on One session with my Victory Group leader and I am so excited on this journey.
