Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 16/7/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project. I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events. Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years. There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards. I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. The reason for missing those days is because I was very unwell, I'm still there and continue recovering. It's not been easy, it looks like I may have developed some kind of liver or kidney infection. It's been a scary few days, but on day4 I regained some strength and I was able to start posting again on Steemit. There still seems to be a bit of a back and forth thing going on with this infection, for example yesterday I was frustrated to feel worse again, but I suspected today I would feel better which is usually the case. While I do feel a little better it's not by much and I was already further ahead with my recovery than I I'm now. I have noticed now that if I'm to experience symptoms I normally seem to get them in the morning and usually by the middle of the day it mostly all goes away. But this was not the case yesterday or today, sure this step back could of been due to the lack of sleep the past 2 nights but I don't think it's just that. I did say I was worried that when the heat returned while I'm still unwell that it could set me back again. Thankfully the past few days it's been cooler. But I do worry for the cats more, they have not been the same since the first heat wave. I think there is the possibility that we might lose another one or even a few if this heat returns. I think our most recent loss last month could of been blamed substantially on the heat. While I would like of course to get a air conditioner for myself, having one would also benefit our vulnerable cats which would honestly take priority. So if anybody fancies to drop any spare extra or large upvotes to help us and them get there quicker that would be great. However this morning it was again relatively cloudy which I suspected would make for a cooler day. I was working with my least favourite superior this morning which I did expect as it's been a while. She had been on holiday which was confirmed by 2 people, but that's not she told me later. The guy who helps set's up task2 for us had already been and so on arrival like I expected she was the barer of bad news to tell me there was a lot of extra work left from yesterday. Since she mentioned there was a lot I expected there to be extra help this morning...but of course there wasn't🙄. I honestly don't understand why most of her shifts end up being troublesome. Anyway I got on with task1 which was a little more than yesterday, and of course a little more got added as I worked, so it took longer than I wanted but it was relatively good timing when I finished. Task2 always seems to be the saviour lately, being very minimal and thankfully today it was the same. Task3 was skipped because of all the annoying extra work left yet again. While I working on the extra work at one point "early on" she starts giving me this story that she really needs this work completed before I leave. She mentions she noticed I already done a lot of work but that she needs it completed because she been unwell with bronchitis apparently. While I completely believe she's got bronchitis as it sounds like she does, however she needs to understand that I'm not there just sitting on my hands, I was already doing my best. She's also not the only one that is not well, I didn't mention this to her but people never seem to have any consideration for what others might be going through. The thing that annoyed me most is there was no need for this conversation, the only reason why she's coming to me and telling me this is because she wants me to work faster, and because she thinks I'm not trying hard enough. I'm doing my best already with the limits that one person can do without support, and all the stupid big limits placed in the work place since the closure of my floor. While not happy about the conversation I was able to get everything done. Looking at the task sheet for this week it looks a mess again, I don't really understand it. Looks like each day as like 4 tasks but I think they are 2, it honestly needs to be more clear. Again if they expect all this nonsense done with the time that we have they are clearly dreaming. When I got out of work I went the slightly longer way home which I shouldn't of done because I'm likely meeting with a friend later for food. And speaking of things "that I shouldn't do" that's actually something else now that I regret planning with my friend, This is because I expected to feel better by today but instead I'm worse. When I got home I tried to get some rest but was not at that point that I could nap yet. After doing a few other things it was time for me to leave to meet with my friend as I didn't want to rush. I made it about 60% of the way to meet and that's when it got cancelled. It honestly wasn't a problem because I would of rather not. However I'm not going to lie that I struggled to get home, most likely because I was unwell but also of the heat and lack of sleep. What was strange is I actually felt a little better returning home even if I was struggling too. The fact remains this hasn't gone away yet, and that's the tricky part, it lingers which means it could at any point start over again 💀 which is scary. Since the powder didn't fully work I should be getting my next set of medication soon. So I continued to take things easy for now in hopes of recovering, fingers crossed 🤞🙏.
