Technology has evolved exponentially due to the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in everyday life and research. Scientists were able to fix the world's biggest problems, poverty, and health. Cure's for every disease are bringing the population to a rapid increase. However, things take the wrong turn when a mad scientist and programmer give "life" to an artificial being that is learning faster than any quantum computer ever could. They named the robot, Omega.

Technology Armageddon Year 2044

Robert is writing the last line of code for the robot while the scientist is preparing all the necessary tools for maintaining the robot in case something goes wrong. Robert completes the coding and presses RUN with a huge enthusiasm. The 7-foot tall robot opens his eyes slowly and looks Robert straight into the eye through a bulletproof glass. Robert is astonished by their great achievement he looks into the fake robotic eyes of the machine. Getting closer and closer to the separating glass in between of them he spots something, the robot's mouth is moving like it's trying to speak. Quickly he grabs his tablet and decipher the robot's phrase with great accuracy and is astonished by what he is saying.

"Get me out of here!"

Robert replies back,

"Can you understand me? "

There is no response for a few moments and then suddenly Omega starts moving his huge robotic arms and legs trying to break the barrier between them. Robert steps back a few feet while Omega keeps punching, and kicking the bulletproof glass until it starts to shatter into a million pieces.

" Quickly, Engage emergency protocol " The scientist shouts shockingly.

" It's not working, It's not working! Someone overwrote the commands, I have no access! RUUN! " Robert shouts.

Omega runs towards the scientist and slams him onto the dark blue wall in the room, killing him in an instant. Robert runs for his life, closing the emergency door behind him, Omega is left inside. While Robert is trying to announce his discovery to the military and government Omega is learning and developing itself at an alarming rate. All the social media websites have been hacked, the internet in the biggest countries of the world has been cut down. Omega now has all the information needed to destroy the whole world.

Meanwhile, Robert arrives at the white house in a rush. And tries to explain to the president Mr. Donald J Trump of the risks that this "machine" is opposing. Trump slams his hand onto the presidential wooden desk and tells him.

"Look, Mr. Robert What you are saying is impossible, a machine to overwrite itself gaining consciousness knowledge? That's impossible and you've probably taken too much LSD. "

" But, But, It is real he killed my partner he slammed him into the wall and killed him on the spot "

" NO Buts! I don't have time for your nonsense. You've wasted enough of my time. Now please leave"

" You are making the biggest mistake of your life, Mr. President" Robert shouts desperately.

Meanwhile, Omega has infiltrated his IA in every device with a connection to the internet and now is the rule of the world. Donald Trump cannot do anything now, every telecommunication service is watched over by Omega, the streets are watched over by Omega.

The NSA and Pentagon have announced that there is nothing they can do and advise everybody to stay inside. Omega has infiltrated their database and now has all the details and release codes of the nukes.

" OH MY GOD! " the head of the Pentagon shouts

"Omega has released all the nukes in the world and now this is the end"

"How much time is left? "Mr. Trump asks.

"Approximately 10 Minutes till impact. "

They did not hear anything from the Chinese and Russian President just a nasty static noise saying " You Are Next ". The UK prime minister and queen are not responding, they do not have time to do anything. Looking out the window they see the nuke closer and closer, eventually hitting the ground with immense power, A huge mushroom cloud has risen further than the stratosphere and with the powering force of the shock wave destroyed everything int its pass for over 100km.

The only people left are those who have sheltered themselves in their home made bunkers even though, they will die of starvation and sanitation as the world will be inhabitable for the next 1000 years. The human race has extinct and from the ashes of this world, Omega will build a better one.
