I first started surfing when I was 5 years old. My dad took me out on a huge tandem board and scared the crap out of me. I surfed off and on after that but didn't really get into it until high school. I'm now land-locked in Nashville, TN, but a few years back I did enjoy some amazing surfing in Costa Rica. You can see pictures here: Surfing Costa Rica. This morning I saw this video, and it blew my mind. I've seen all kinds of interesting surfing approaches from jet ski and helicopter tow-ins to strapped boards with hydrofoils to amazing windsurfing and kitesurfing acrobatics. I've never seen anything like this.
