***The subject area I want to cover***

| ---| The subject area I want to cover is to providing care of patients or sick one at home. I want to start my application with a beautiful proverb **"Health is a great wealth"**. In this season I will share my knowledge about how to provide basic care and cure to patients? From my childhood, it was my keenly desire to enroll in a best medical field and Alhamdulillah now my desire has been fulfilled and I'm student of BS Nursing. During my this course I will teach about basic methods of providing care to patien. It is offened happened that suddenly anyone from our family membor get ill and due to not meeting the basic care, he/she can face serious health issues and sometimes prey to death. For dealing with this condition at home, anyone must be aware of providing basic care and cure to patient. So everyone should be known what are vital signs and how to measure these signs? Beside this I will cover many other important things about care of patient like back care, preventive measures of bed sore etc. Beside this I will teach how to communicate with patient (therapeutic and non-therapeutic), importance of hygeination, lesson about assessment tools and some common diseases like bed sores. Nursing practice and nursing process (Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation) will prefer in my subject area. For every week I will give one workshop to students so that can involve in practical learning. These will be very easy to do and will not costly too. For example

| ---| My name is Ali Moazzam and my username on steemit is @moazzamushtaq. By profession I'm a male nurse and I have one year experience about nursing. After completing my Fsc pre medical study, I was enrolled in BS Nursing course last year. In first semester I learned about how to communicate with patient, nursing process and some basic health care providing techniques like hygeination, oral medication, vital signs and their measurements. I learned these techniques with practically at Fatima Memorial Hospital, Lahore. With the start of 2nd semester our clinical rotations has been started and know we are going to Fatima Memorial hospital (FMH) which is our university's hospital and continuously I am doing clinical practice of nursing. Everyday I learn new things about nursing practice and in this course I want to share my knowledge on steemit. I have written many diaries on steemit about my this journey. | ---| **Vital signs:** In my first week I will deliver lessons about vital signs. Maintaining the normal range of these vital signs is crucial for living a healthy life. That's why my first week will be about vital signs. Below are the I will ask following questions. Q1: What are vital signs? Describe five primary vital signs that professionals typicaly assess during patient evaluation. Q2: How do you differentiate between normal and abnormal respiratory rate in adults and children? Q3: What factors can influence the normal range of blood pressure? Describe the conditions caused by increasing or decreasing of blood pressure. Q4: Describe the difference between radial and apical pulse assessments. Nursing process is very necessary in nursing practice for treatment of patient. By having knowledge about nursing process, a common man can also assess the condition of patient and can be plan for his treatment. That's why I'm including nursing process for 2nd week. The questions will be: Q1: Describe five stages of nursing process. Q2: How would you assess the needs of patient with multiple health problems by using nursing process? Q3: What is difference between nursing diagnosis and nursing evaluation? Provide example of each. Q4: Suppose a case that there is a patient in your home, how will you treat him by using nursing process? ***For 3rd week:***| ---| **Hygein and sanitation:** In 3rd week I will discuss about hygeination. As hygeination has a significantl role in keeping us healthy. So hygeination will be my target for 3rd week. I will ask following questions Q1: Describe the importance of hand hygiene in healthcare settings. Q2: What are key differences in cleaning, disinfection and sterilization in healthcare sector? Q3: Explain the role of personal protective equipment (PPE) in preventing the transmission of infectious diseases. Q4: How to provide proper oral care and hygiene to the patient who is unable to perform these activities? Q5: How many steps of Hand washing?
