This is my weekly post about my personal investment in Unit Trust, diversifying my retirement fund in EPF. My intention is to educate anyone who is investing to diversify their investment. My investment portfolio value is currently at 21.31% as compared to 21.14% last week. If I didn’t do [portfolio rebalancing](https://www.sabahwealthadvisor.com/unit-trust-investment/), my investment portfolio value would be at 28.26%. My local fund value went slightly up last week as the local market traded cautiously in the absence of fresh catalysts. The FBM KLCI index closed at 1,504 points, 26 points down from the previous week. My foreign fund also slightly decrease in value as regional markets generally traded mixed. My bond fund, however, slightly increases in value. I’ll monitor my unit trust investment weekly until my next scheduled portfolio rebalancing. It’s hard to predict the market movement, that’s why you need to keep your emotion out of investing and rebalance your portfolio regularly.
