The importance of mobile phones in the modern day world cannot be overemphasized due to its impact on one's life. A mobile phone can be described as a portable telephone which is capable of making and receiving calls by the use of radio frequency links and this will be possible as long as the user is within the telephone network reachable area.

So now, Lets take a deeper look into the history and revolution of mobile phones...

Before the wide acceptance of mobile phones, professor Albert Jahnke in 1908 developed a wireless phone, but he was accused of fraud and was charged to the court of law, though the case was dropped. The research was consequently stopped until 1918, when the German rail road system made another test on wireless telephones. Then, public trials was carried out on the wireless telephone system.

This went on until 1940s during the 2nd world war when hand-held transceivers were made available to the military. This mobile phones research went on and on 6th March 1983, the first 1G mobile phone was launched. The newest innovation cost about 100 million dollars to develop and took over 10 years to reach the market. In the 1990s, we had the first 2G mobile phones, known as the first digital phones. The development gave birth to further moderations to the device. Gradually people were used to the use of mobiles for internet purposes and this gave birth to the 3G technology. **Here are some bonus facts about automobiles** * Mobile phones are more powerful in computing than the computers used in the first moon landing * The first mobile phone sold in the U.S cost about $4,000 each that was in 1983 * About 340,000 iPhones were sold by Apple in 2012 * Mobile phone radiation can cause confusion. *Nomophobia is the fear of doing with a phone * Nokia 1100 is the best selling electrical gadget in history with about 250,000,000 sales * The act of ignoring your friends because of phones is called phubbing.
