It started as a joke. Retrieve an egg. Simple right? Not really. In fact, there have only been five members of #thealliance to legitimately accomplish this feat. Mainly because the planet Zyngroptha is insanely far away and the time it takes to get there, and back, isn't feasible for most people. But, for those that did try, only a handful ever came back. The goal is to snatch an egg from a Brooding Chericleps Mother. The trick is, not to get your soul eaten...

The Chericleps have a special power you see, they are able to take the form of your inner most lustful desire. Such temptation is extremely difficult to resist, which is the other reason very few have returned. Once in its grasp, you are helpless, and like a siren, it will slowly feed on your soul as you remain in a catatonic trance. @zeartul knew this. He had done his homework and trained hard prior to embarking on the expedition. His divination and shadow skills had yet to begin to peak, but he knew, this was the challenge he was needing to prove his progress to himself.

She saw his ship arrive and knew another thief was on the prowl. She sensed his intentions as he drew near and struck without warning. Leaping from her comfortable shadows, she paralyzed him with a psychic blast and stared long into his soul, searching for his deepest lustful wish. Through his training, the attack only lasted a mere 4 seconds before he was able to shake it off and adapt, absorbing any further attacks with his impeccable psionic abilities. Little known to her however, she leapt high in the air and again, attempted to stifle his movement but the attack was deflected back toward her and she remained suspended in the air. Approaching her, he peered long and deep, and saw the anguish of lonliness and reaped her soul, setting the Chericleps free from the endless pain she endured. Merciful and victorious, he calmly walked to her nest, grabbed an egg, and departed from the planet.
