Never thinking that the most important of all, is that it is the Word of God or God itself as what John 1:1 said "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." It contains the mind of God and His will for each one of our lives. That is why the Bible was given to us. Paul the Apostle says in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 #### Here are some reason, Why is it important to Study the word of God "The Bible" #### 1. The Word of God is infallible. • According to merriam-webster.org, infallible means that is incapable of error, not liable to mislead, deceive, or disappoint and incapable of error in defining doctrines touching faith or morals. • That explains that the word of God never fails. #### Proverbs 30:5-6 " “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar." #### 2. The Word of God is Complete. • The word of God have been given to us complete, though others adds some Books, Chapter and even Verses in which God does not tolerate it. • Everything that is written are final and never to be change as what the word of God said. #### Revelation 22:18-19, God gives us a warning, "For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." ### 3. God's Word is totally sufficient for all of our needs. • We don't need anything or anyone more that God, Who really loved us. • Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for His great love to us and we should be glad and thankful for that. • Everything is in the Word of God, on how should we lived in this planet earth. #### 2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." ### 4. The Word of God will accomplish what it promises. • Everything that God had promise to us, He will totally accomplished it all. • Believe that God is faithful and He never fails. • God sent His word to accomplish His perfect will in our lives. If God makes a promise to you He will fulfill it in His own time. • There are so many promises given to us in the Bible. These promises reassure us and bring comfort to our lives in our times of trial. #### Isaiah 55:11 "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." ## God wants us to study His Word day and night for us to know Him more and to know all His promises unto us. #### Joshua 1:8 "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.
