Hola, bienvenida in México After 5 hours flying from NY we found ourselves immersed in the joyful atmosphere of the Mexicans Bienvenida (Welcome) we felt at every corner of the street

Cancun - capital

Cancun is one of the youngest cities in Mexico, being just over thirty years old, has become today one of the most visited tourism capitals in the whole Caribbean Sea. We find ourselves in the extraordinary peninsula of Yucatanand all around the city stretch for miles of beautiful beaches and lagoons. Wandering around the city to find corners of 1000 colors is on the agenda, as well as throwing themselves into sudden unleashed dances. How we like Mexico!

In Cancun we stayed at a Mexican family who adopted us. Thanks Lors & Ricardo, their little Emilio, the cute little Lilian sister and our new, four-legged Manchas friend. With them we are learning to "aprender a hablar español". Living in the family is a wonderful experience.

Akumal Beach
