Getting out of the drama triangle is our ticket out of third dimensional consciousness!

Are you familiar with the drama triangle? It is a very handy tool to see which part of our ego we are currently feeding. There's probably more then three archetypes, but it is remarkable how we can almost recognise anything we do, that is ego based, in one of these three archetypes: Victim, rescuer, persecutor:

Say one of them picks the persecutor role and says to the other in an accusing way: " You didn't wait for me after school! and then I had to walk home and then I twisted my ankle.' The other person can then choose between picking the role of rescuer or victim or even also prosecuter. Say they choose victim, they will reply something along the lines of: 'Yeah, but I was still in school because I had to stay after class and sweep the whole floor, while I already did that two times this week.' Or if they chose the role of rescuer, they might say something like: 'Oh, poor you, you always have bad luck, come here and sit down and let me take care of that, as I'm sure you didn't put any cream on it yet, because you don't take good care of your self. What would you do without me?'

The common denominator is the fact that neither one of them, in which ever role they are, takes responsibility for their own actions, from an adult, heart centered place.

The prosecuter, blames their school buddy for their ankle being twisted. The victim, blames whoever made them sweep for not showing up to walk home with the other. And the rescuer is leaning on the one with the twisted ankle to provide them with importance, by making them dependant on them and belittling them.

These roles can be alternated between people. Whichever role anyone takes, it is a dance that leads away from heart based consciousness. It is a dance to gain something. Even the rescuer is out to gain something instead of giving freely from the heart. And identification with these roles provides the fuel to keep this dance going. The third dimensional consciousness is all about this dynamic of pushing our own responsibility on to another person.

Because we feel the burden of our own responsibility is too heavy to carry ourselves and we feel we are lacking power. There somehow never seems to be enough to carry all our burdens and because our vertical connection the Divine is often blocked we try to get what we need horizontally, from other people. So we mistake ourselves for beggars, begging each other for some power, some importance, some weight of the shame being lifted of our shoulders, placing it on some other poor souls shoulders instead, who will probably try to do the same with the next person they meet.

The only way to get out, is to become aware of our identification with each of the roles in the drama triangle.

Once we notice the identification: 'Hey, I'm in victim mode now.' The identification is broken and we can step out of the triangle and become an observer. It's very liberating once we realise we don't have to save anyone, prosecute anyone or be anyones victim. Once we do, we can just be who we are. And what we are without identification with the roles of the drama triangle is heart based consciousness.

A veil of drama is lifted and we see: There is enough for everyone! I enjoy giving, because it empowers me! We are then drawn to taking responsibility for our own actions and doing it with as much love as possible, because we want to grow and to serve Love/ The Divine. Then.. we are on our way to the fifth dimension.
