Most highly secure communication systems such as Wire, Signal, Riot, Ring, XMPP, Telegram, Whatsapp, Wickr just offer an enough advanced privacy and security level for average communications but does not take post-quantum related risks into consideration and are therefore not designed and suitable for very high confidentiality levels communications which must to stay secure for many years especially concerning quantum computers related threats. Theses solutions are great but simply not designed for a future security while less used solutions which have a much higher security are often lacking accessibility and user experience.
