It was our first time visiting this park and it did not disappoint. It was just what the doctor ordered for me with it's wide open spaces, lovely lakefront and peaceful paved trail. Being outdoors and engaging with nature always has a way of calming, soothing, and centering my soul. I hope you get a taste of the experience as you take this walk with me.

It really is a source of life to every living thing while also offering solace and a range of activities. The way it reflects the sun and the sky is mesmerizing.*

We found this small beach like spot tucked away just off the trail. Nothing compares to the beauty of water running onto a sandy shore.*

There is something grounding about the earth tones of the fields and hills as they await blooming season.*

These leaves remind me that some life remains and new growth continues even in the coldest, most barren of seasons.*
