      how difficult is it to sell a single bitcoin now? does it just happen immediately through either exchanging currencies with people or an automated service? or is it hard to find somebody to somebody who would buy a bitcoin?

        It's all immediate. You sell it on an exchange like coinbase or GDAX. People sell dozens in one trade.
